Android RoadShare Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 14, 2026
Last Updated: September 14, 2026

RoadShare (“RoadShare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a technology platform designed to connect individuals requesting roadside assistance (“Customers”) with independent roadside assistance providers (“Helpers”).

This Privacy Policy explains how RoadShare collects, uses, processes, stores, and shares information when you access or use the RoadShare mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using RoadShare, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

RoadShare may collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and certain information provided by your device.

Account Information

When you create or use a RoadShare account, we may collect information such as:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Account type, such as Customer or Helper

  • Authentication and account identifiers

  • Profile information

  • Information you voluntarily provide through RoadShare

Helpers may provide additional information necessary to offer roadside assistance services, including vehicle information and information associated with receiving payouts.

2. Location Information

Location information is an important part of RoadShare's roadside assistance functionality.

Depending on the permissions you grant and the features you use, RoadShare may collect precise or approximate location information, including:

  • Your current location

  • The location where roadside assistance is requested

  • Location information associated with an active roadside assistance service

  • Location updates used for live service tracking

  • Information used to calculate distance, estimated arrival information, and service progress

Background Location

RoadShare may use background location on supported devices when necessary during an active roadside assistance service.

For example, a Helper's location may need to continue updating while traveling to or assisting a Customer, even when RoadShare is not actively displayed on the device.

Background location is used to support roadside assistance functionality, including active-job tracking and service progress.

Users can manage location permissions through their device settings. Disabling certain location permissions may limit or prevent location-dependent RoadShare features from functioning properly.

RoadShare does not directly store complete payment-card numbers.
