RoadShare respects your privacy and gives you the ability to permanently delete your account and associated personal information.
Delete Your Account in the RoadShare App
To delete your account from within the RoadShare mobile app:
Sign in to your RoadShare account.
Open your Customer Dashboard or Helper Dashboard.
Select Delete Account.
Review the account deletion information.
Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
Once confirmed, RoadShare will process your account deletion and you will no longer be able to sign in using that account.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, RoadShare deletes account information that is no longer required to operate the service, including your active RoadShare user account and associated profile information.
Helper verification information associated with the active account may also be removed from RoadShare's active database.
Information We May Retain
Certain information may be retained when necessary for legitimate business, legal, fraud-prevention, safety, accounting, payment, or regulatory purposes. This may include:
Completed roadside-assistance service records
Transaction and payment records
Stripe payment or helper payout records
Ratings and service history
Records necessary to resolve disputes, chargebacks, fraud, or legal claims
Information that must be retained will be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose or as required by law.
